Ugh. Someone once asked me in an interview "Do you want to work for somebody for the rest of your life or do you want to join our team and be a part of the FUTURE?!"
He then follows up with "Do you want to make $100k a year or do you want to be where there is no cap? This isn't the NBA, there is no salary cap!"
When I first heard the word wantreprenuer, I almost gagged half laughing half thinking how stupid it was but I get it. Do you fully commit to yourself at least once in your life and when you do, how far are you willing to go? Will you stay up til five thirty five in the morning on a Saturday hovering over piles of grease or doing an extra load of laundry just because the smell of Asian food has reached the limit for the day.
If I wanted to own my own business for once or put my existing skills to the test. Can I prevail? Do I give up on one dream, the Saigoncisco for the chase of egg roll dreams? Trinh Roll is the name I have already coined. Because with all the money I'll be making, I'll always have a "Trinh Roll" which for you it's a delicious egg roll but for me, it's a roll of money that gives me the location dependence I always dreamed of.
Are you an entrepreneur or a wantrepreneur? Better question is, what am I? What is one?
KABOOOOM.
